Fur a Good Paws celebrates 10 years

March 11, 2013, Fur a Good Paws celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The local, all-volunteer nonprofit was founded on March 11, 2003 when a small group of caring citizens met to make a difference for homeless pets in our community.

Fur a Good Paws thanks all those in the community who have supported its efforts through the years. By providing quick spay-neuter assistance and by educating the public about responsible pet ownership, Fur a Good Paws continues to make a difference in controlling the pet overpopulation problem.

Over the years several hundred Clay County dogs and cats have been spayed/neutered with help from Fur a Good Paws. Many injured and sick homeless pets have been saved through timely veterinary care funded by the organization.

Fur a Good Paws relies on the goodwill and helping hands of its volunteers and donors to continue its charitable work. Donations are tax deductible and help save pet lives.
