Free Spay/Neuter Pet Winners Announced! To celebrate 10 pawsome years in the community, Fur a Good Paws had a 10th Anniversary 10 Pets’ Free Spay/Neuter drawing in March.
We received 37 pet entries (25 dogs, 12 cats) by email and post. In the photo are Donna Corry, Fur a Good Paws treasurer, and Trudy Lambird, co-founder/vice-president, who drew the 10 pet names. Here are the 10 winning pets. Seven dogs and three cats were the lucky 10 whose names got drawn.
Their spay/neuter will be fully sponsored by Fur a Good Paws, including testing for heartworm (dogs) and feline leukemia (cats). Fur a Good Paws is grateful to Dr. Loy Hosselton at the Flora Veterinary Clinic for granting a 15% discount towards the spay/neuter cost of these 10 pets. No furry friend should be a loser. So, for the pets whose names did not get drawn, Fur is Good Paws is offering spay/neuter vouchers that will cover a partial but significant part of the surgery cost. Spaying/neutering your pet is a wise decision, and the best lifelong decision you can make for your four-legged friend. Your pet will have a longer, healthier life, and will also not contribute to accidental litters and pet overpopulation. Congratulations to all the pets that entered our 10th anniversary spay/neuter drawing. A healthy, happy life to them all. |
